1) Why did the hound attack Montag?
-- The hound attacked Montag because since the hound is meant to kill criminals or anyone who disobeys a law, Montag murdered Beatty and other firemen therefore making Montag a criminal.
2) How did Montag defend himself?
-- Montag defended himself by using the flamethrower on the hound.
3) What did Montag realize about Beatty?
-- Montag realizes that Beatty wanted to die. That is why, Beatty was throwing insults at Montag wanting him to use the flamethrower.
4) Where did Montag go?
-- Montag was on his way to Faber's house but stopped on the way to one of his firemen's house to plant a book in there.
5) What happened when Montag crossed the street?
-- Montag was able to barely dodge a speeding car, and since Clarisse died by getting ran over, Montag assumes that they are the ones who killed Clarisse

-- Faber's TV is small and was placed behind a picture.

-- The TV showed that they were still looking for Montag and assigned a new hound to capture him.

-- Montag was running towards the river to find other writers.
